  • Midday sun is for metro and taxis. The corniche and souq belong to late afternoon, when the air finally lets you stay outside.
  • Dress modestly in the souq and at the mosque. Museum dress is more relaxed but still respectful.
  • A Karwa or ride-hail plus the metro covers the spread. The corniche is a walk at dusk, not at noon.
